Precision Plate for KECO Robo® Mini Dent Lifters and K-1911 Dent Gun

The Precision Plate is one of those quiet upgrades in the paintless dent repair process that changes everything once you use it. Designed for techs who know exactly what they're doing and want clean, controlled results every time, this tool brings balance and accuracy into every pull.

If you're already using the KECO Robo® Mini Lifter or the K-1911 Dent Gun, this plate is built to fit right in. It's interchangeable with the stock feet and instantly upgrades your ability to handle tight, focused pulls with minimal distortion to the surrounding panel. Its biggest strength is in preventing over-pulls by applying counterpressure around the area you’re working. That means more consistent finishes, faster knockdowns, and cleaner outcomes with less need for correction.

Whether you're working hail, sharp bodyline dents, or detail pulls in soft aluminum, the Precision Plate gives you the control and efficiency that helps keep jobs moving and customers satisfied.

Built for Precision Dent Removal

The Precision Plate isn't just another foot replacement. It's a purpose-built tool that solves a specific problem: how to isolate force during a pull without disturbing surrounding metal.

Every tech knows that pulling on thin or stretched metal comes with risk. You’re often pulling not just the dent, but the area around it. This can lead to unwanted high spots, overcorrections, and extra knockdown work. The Precision Plate addresses that by surrounding your pull tab with a wide footprint that distributes pressure. It holds the undamaged panel in place while allowing a tight, controlled lift directly over the pull tab.

Wide Footprint, Narrow Focus

The wide, flat contact base gives you a reliable brace that stabilizes the area. The 22.4 mm opening is large enough to support most commonly used precision tabs up to 20 mm in diameter. This setup keeps you focused on the exact point of pull while managing how the surrounding metal responds. It’s a huge step up from narrow feet that can sink or shift during the lift.

In hail repair, this plate shines. On aluminum hoods or roof rails where metal is soft and pull energy needs to be contained, you’ll find that the plate keeps the work area tight. You get a cleaner dome and a faster transition to knockdown and polish. It’s ideal for any PDR tech doing high-volume hail work, bodyline corrections, or precision tab work with smaller tools.

Reduces Knockdown Time

Knockdown is often the step where time gets lost. Over-pulled metal slows down your workflow, introduces room for error, and makes clean finishes harder to achieve. With the Precision Plate, you’re minimizing the amount of metal you need to knock down in the first place.

By bracing the surface and limiting distortion, the tool gives you more accurate results on the first pull. That means you spend less time correcting mistakes and more time finishing dents the right way. The result is a faster, smoother process that’s easier on the metal and easier on your tools.

Compatible with Robo® and K-1911 Tools

This plate was designed to integrate with two of the most widely used tools in the KECO line: the Robo® Mini Lifter and the K-1911 Dent Gun. You don’t need to modify or adapt anything. It mounts directly in place of the standard feet using the same bolts.

Once installed, it stays firmly in place and feels like it was part of the original tool. It’s the kind of upgrade that once you add it, you’ll wonder why you worked without it.

Key Fit Details:

  • Works with KECO Robo® Mini Lifter

  • Compatible with K-1911 Mini Lifter (Dent Gun)

  • No adapters or changes required

  • Same mounting points as standard feet

Perfect for Hail, Sharp Dents, and Detail Work

When the job calls for precision, this tool delivers. Whether you're doing glue pulls on shallow hail or working out a tight aluminum crease, you need stability under pressure. The Precision Plate gives you the confidence to pull harder when needed and the restraint to avoid overcorrection.

It also comes in handy for:

  • Roof rails and tight spots with limited access

  • Detail pulls on aluminum or high-strength steel

  • Removing fine sharp dents with minimal footprint

  • Clean tab removal with reduced distortion

Durability and Construction

This plate isn’t made to look pretty. It’s made to last. KECO doesn’t mess around with fit and finish. The Precision Plate is cut from solid, wear-resistant material that can hold up to repeated pulling and daily field work.

It’s resistant to cracking, chipping, or bending. It doesn’t flex under pressure, and the wide surface area provides solid ground on even uneven panels. Whether you’re working in a shop or out in the field, it’s built to handle the demands of professional use.

Why It Matters for PDR Techs

In PDR, control is everything. This plate adds a level of control you can feel in your hands. You see it in your pull results, in the way your tabs release, and in how little time you spend on knockdowns. The wide base acts like an anchor, giving your tab the isolated pull it needs to lift the dent without affecting what’s around it.

Techs often talk about tools that save time, but this one does it in a quiet, consistent way. Over time, that adds up to faster panels, happier customers, and more efficient repairs.

Use It With:

  • KECO Centipede Tabs

  • Dead Center Tabs

  • Gang Green Tabs

  • PDR Glue Pull Tabs up to 20 mm diameter

  • Any application where focused pull force is required

Installation and Setup

Installing the Precision Plate takes less than a minute. Just remove the original feet from your KECO Robo® Mini Lifter or K-1911 Dent Gun using a standard hex key or wrench. The Precision Plate uses the same screw pattern and bolts directly on with no modification.

Once installed, you're ready to go. There’s no learning curve and no extra adjustments. You’ll feel the difference right away on your first pull.

How It Fits Into Your Workflow

Let’s say you're working hail on an aluminum hood with 50+ dents. You set up your Robo® Mini Lifter with this plate, line up the tab, and make the first pull. The dent lifts cleanly, and the surrounding metal stays flat. You knock it down and move to the next dent. That’s how this tool helps—by reducing time on each dent and giving you more control with less correction work.

You don’t have to babysit the metal or undo what the tool just did. It lets you move faster and cleaner through every panel.

Who It’s For

This tool is for working PDR professionals who need consistent results. If you're pushing dents for a living and demand clean, efficient panel work, this tool makes your job easier. It's not just for glue pullers—it’s for anyone who values quality and repeatability.

Great for:

  • Hail techs working high-volume panels

  • Shop owners looking to speed up efficiency

  • Mobile techs doing detail work

  • Aluminum and high-strength steel applications

  • Techs who do light bodyline or brace-area pulls

Final Thoughts

The Precision Plate may look like a simple add-on, but its impact is real. It changes how force is transferred into the panel. It controls movement, reduces distortion, and limits over-pull—all of which speed up the process and improve outcomes. If you're already using KECO lifters and haven't upgraded your feet, this is the fastest way to improve your pulling setup.

Attractive
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Grey
The assembled product is just as described. The screens look great! I am using them to hide the cluttered shelving in my garage. The area now looks quite neat Something I must say, though, is that the assembly was extremely difficult. I had to use a silicone spray and some pounding to get the A and B poles to fit together. Also, it required a great deal of strength to stretch and hold the fabric panels so that the bars inserted in each hem lines up with the screws inserted in A/B poles. I strongly recommend having a partner to help with the assembly. while sc and screw into poles them once inserted intetchedtne end of each pole ( and B poles barely fit together. I used silicone spray on the end and then pounded them

Does the job, but assembling by yourself is a nightmare
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Black
Does it do the job? Yes, although as others said there are small gaps but it's not a huge deal. The price is also good. But the reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is simply because the assembly for this was a complete nightmare. I honestly don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless they have another person to help them assemble it, because doing it by myself was terrible. I don't think I'd buy this again, I think I'd opt to just spend a bit more money and save myself the trouble personally.

Reasonably adequate room divider
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Beige
I'm reviewing this as I assemble it. Couple things: 1. I didn't expect as much assembly. I've ordered dividers before and they more-or-less came as one unit. Sometimes the panels needed screwing together. These require complete assembly and come largely as three rods: two make up vertical columns and snap together. Another one (called part "C") makes the horizontal columns and you have two of these per panel (one attaches to part "A" and the other part "B"). These parts are metal with a plastic shim. Using the wood screws to attach to part "C" is a real pain in the neck. There's not much holding the panel in place so it's a little tricky. One tactic I've found while I'm assembling that works for the initial connections from parts A and B to their respective "C" rods is to hold the screw in place with a screw driver and then rotating the rod around the screw. This will do a number on your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. This obviously doesn't work when completing the connection. Using a driller driver on this is really near impossible because there isn't anything you can use to secure it in place. You can use it on the first panel, but as it gets longer, it becomes increasingly difficult and because it isn't wood, it's really tight. I considered drilling larger pilot holes but since there are only 4x4=16 screws I need to screw in, I just decided to use my screw driver to complete it. 2. Also related to assembly. When completing the panels (attaching parts "A" and "B" to parts "C" that have the cloth cover on it), you have to be careful that when you tighten that side that it isn't loosening the other side. Because the pilot holes are so tight, you can end up rotating the rod, which rotates it in the same direction as looser on the original side. Having someone hold the "C" rod in place while you screw it in is probably the easiest approach. I didn't have a 2nd person, so I just had to keep flipping back and forth and tightening both sides as I screwed it in. Not the worlds biggest deal, but annoying nonetheless. 3. The way the instructions are written, they seem to suggest building this thing progressively; that is, you do panel 1, then 2, connect them together, then do 3 and connect it, etc. I took a different route that I suspect saved me quite a bit of trouble, and I assembled all four panels first and THEN connected everything together. 4. For the love of God make sure you check that the plastic tip is on the same side for every panel. Otherwise, you have to take one side apart again and reverse it. On the bright side, if this happens, you've essentially bored out the pilot holes to be the correct size... which is having me question if I shouldn't have just bored them out to the appropriate width in the first place. 5. Attaching all of the panels together is also an enormous pain in the ass unless you happen to have an 88" long elevated surface. Attaching the legs either requires you to elevate one side, which will invariably twist the inexplicably cheap material in the bottom connectors... or you can attach them sideways... or you can put this thing upright, having two people hold the panels in place while you use the allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the underside. None of those are particularly great options. NOW on to the utility itself. 1. The panels do let some light through (I didn't believe their advertising, and that was one of the reasons that I bought beige, is that I wanted it to not be too dark). They aren't transparent though, so it isn't that far off from their description. They functionally work great, and keep the mess of wires hidden and when I'm sitting at my desk, actually reflect quite a bit of light into my office. Great! 2. My wife has described these as "the most hideous piece of furniture ever conceived of by man." So it does not have spouse approval factor. Granted, she will seldom be in my office area, so that isn't the end of the world. 3. These are really hard to align in a way that doesn't look a little tacky. There are some plastic connectors but they don't do a bang up job of keeping these in place. Each panel is slightly tilted and it's... quite obvious. I may at some point make my own improvements to these to help make them more level. It's not a particularly expensive product so I wasn't expecting much so it's fine and I'm not going to ding them on the rating because of it. All said, would I buy this product again? Probably not. It's assembly was ~90 minutes which is about 75 minutes longer than I was anticipating spending on this (not including the 5 minute writeup that I'm doing here). But am I going to return it? Also no, if for no other reason I'd be just as annoyed taking it apart and putting it in the original box to return it.

Easy peasy
Size: 1 Panel, Color: Black
Bought this single-panel room divider for my son so he has a little privacy when he has to keep his camera on for online classes. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and does the job—he can focus without me photobombing in the background. He can feel like he has his own tiny corner office, even if it’s just the basement.
