A Topical Solution for healing and repair of dry and itchy skin smoothing.

Mari-Mend ™ contains Aloe vera.  Aloe-Vera is a cactus plant which belongs to the Liliaceae family.  Studies have found that Aloe-Vera is effective in treating a variety of skin conditions from flaky to dry.  Aloe-Vera has a soothing effect on sensitive skin.

Mari-Mend ™ contains coconut oil.  Coconut oil is loaded with naturally reoccurring good fats. Coconut oil also moisturizes and softens the skin. Coconut oil may help smooth inflamed skin, reduce redness and rehydrate dry skin.

Mari-Mend ™ contains ginger root essential oil. Ginger root essential oil when used topically, has toning and anti-oxidant properties and may improve the appearance of scars.

Mari-Mend ™ also contains peppermint oil, which offers a cooling sensation and has a calming effect on the body.

It is a good sunscreen, but if your skin is very oily, think again.

I have tried many, MANY sunscreens, and this one is in my top 10, but not at the very top. Why not? Well, what I like about it is that you get a good amount for an excellent price. It's lightweight, but not extremely so, and this size can easily last you 3 months without any problem. However, while it's made for oily skin, it's not that light. After just a few hours of application, it can leave your skin feeling greasy, especially if you sweat easily. It doesn't leave a white cast, but it does leave a slight, shiny finish. Reapplying isn't very comfortable. If you use it just once a day, it's fine, but if you apply it more often, your skin will feel a bit heavy and oily. I think this sunscreen is better for specific occasions rather than for daily use. If I had to choose a sunscreen for daily use, I would pick one with a lighter formula, like Fusion Water from Isdin.
